Being regenerative starts with observing the energy flows in a system you already have, and diverting its waste streams toward value. Manure, food waste, cardboard, leaves — the things most operations pay someone to haul away — are the raw material for some of the highest-value biological amendments there are.

The principle underneath all of it is straightforward: inoculate the soil with strong cultures of biological communities, then nurture those species by building an environment where they thrive. Get that right and it compounds outward — soil, environment, animal and human health.
